  • Elon Musk was able to overcome blindness. Neuralink has released a revolutionary Blindsight device that can restore vision even if a person is blind from birth. Blindsight has already received approval from the FDA – the US Department of Health is shocked by the device's capabilities. 


  • World wheat prices may rise due to drought in Russia and Ukraine. According to Bloomberg, unfavorable climatic conditions in the Black Sea region threaten the future wheat harvest. At the moment, only 6.3 million hectares of winter crops have been sown in Russia – this is the lowest figure in the last ten years for this time of year.


  • The IMF was unable to resume work with Russia. The economic review mission scheduled for September 16 has been postponed indefinitely. According to TASS, the reason was the «technical unavailability of the mission to hold consultations with Russia.»


  • Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance spoke out against increased censorship in the country. He commented on the recent call by Hillary Clinton, the former Democratic candidate, to criminalize disinformation. Vance called for reducing not only the intensity of political rhetoric, but also the level of censorship in the United States.


  • Almost all European countries have reduced their carbon dioxide emissions since the end of the last century. Between 1990 and 2022, Europe reduced emissions by 24%, while in the United States they increased by 3%, and in China and India they doubled over the same period. Latvia has become the only country in Europe where carbon dioxide emissions have increased in 32 years.
