  • Foreign companies are actively negotiating their return to the Russian market. This is confirmed by the registration of trademarks in the country. The authorities are working on conditions for the return of businesses that left Russia in an extremely negative environment.


  • Russia is considering the possibility of resuming gas supplies to Europe and is discussing this issue with Washington. American investors could acquire shares in the Nord Stream pipeline or even in Gazprom itself. In addition, the United States can act as an intermediary, buying Russian gas and reselling it to Europe.


  • Trump signed the first tariff trade deal with the UK. As part of the agreement, the United States will impose 10% duties against Britain, expecting revenues of $6 billion. The American president also promised $5 billion in «new export opportunities» for American cattle ranchers, farmers and producers.


  • The UK plans to impose serious sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet, affecting 100 oil tankers. Since the beginning of last year, Russian vessels have transported over $24 billion in cargo, some of which have damaged critical infrastructure, including cables and pipelines in the Baltic Sea.


  • Trump called on Russia and Ukraine to implement a 30-day ceasefire. The American president warned that if the truce is ignored or violated, the United States will impose additional sanctions.
