  • India and Russia are planning to introduce a reference ruble-rupee exchange rate to improve liquidity in trading operations. This will help to avoid double conversion through the dollar when paying for oil. The exchange rate will be set by the Bank of Russia and the Reserve Bank of India. Earlier, a similar agreement was concluded between India and the UAE.


  • Fitch downgraded Israel's rating to A level. The international rating agency Fitch Ratings has downgraded Israel's long-term foreign currency issuer default rating from «A+» to «A», setting the outlook as «Negative». This decision is due to the ongoing war in Gaza, which has increased geopolitical risks and led to military operations on several fronts.
